What Sports Club OS is

Sports Club OS is sports club management software for member-owned clubs. It runs the whole club in one web app: members, renewals and invoices, court bookings, staff rostering, the bar till, functions, finance and GST, email, classes, competitions and clubhouse TVs.

It is made for clubs that run more than courts: tennis, squash, padel and pickleball clubs that also have a bar, a function room, coaching or social sport, usually with 100 to 2,000 members, a committee and a small paid or volunteer team. It is offered to clubs in Australia and New Zealand.

There are pages for tennis club software, squash club software, padel club software and pickleball club software.

Why Neutral IT's founder built club software

Sports Club OS grew out of Grace Park Hawthorn Club in Melbourne, where Adam Gough is a member. For years the club ran on a desktop program: little could be done from a phone, little connected to anything else, and the roster, the email list and function enquiries each lived somewhere different.

Adam built Sports Club OS to bring those parts into one place. Every part was built for a real job at the club, with the people who do that job. How Sports Club OS started tells the full story.

Adam builds it, and his business partner Simon Craft leads the rollout to clubs: setting up, changeover and training. Meet the Sports Club OS team.

What Sports Club OS covers

Membership management

Online applications with proposer endorsement, yearly or monthly payment, renewal invoices raised automatically, tags and saved member filters.

Court bookings

Courts and tables booked by members from their phone, with guests and foyer wallboards.

Staff rostering

A weekly roster with open shifts, yes or no answers by email and text, and hours worked with a timesheet export.

Bar and reception till

Point of sale with member accounts, prepaid credit, tabs, PIN changeover, cash-up and stock. It keeps selling when the internet drops.

Functions and venue hire

Enquiries, quotes, deposits, function sheets, a room calendar and a slot on the staff roster.

Finance and GST

GST on every invoice, a BAS worksheet, income in advance, bank reconciliation and a month's summary for MYOB.

Member email

Emails built from templates or drafted by AI, with email preferences, unsubscribe links and bounce handling.

Classes and coaching

Timetables, terms, enrolment, waitlists, coach rolls and a public What's on page.

Competitions and live scoring

Ladders, box leagues, round robins and knockout draws, scored live from a phone, with TV scoreboards.

The club's website

The club's own website, edited by clicking or by asking an AI, with approval before a change goes live.

Reports for the committee

Dashboard widgets, report pages and an AI Report Assistant that answers questions about the club's figures.

Roles and permissions

Roles the club edits itself, two-factor sign-in and an audit log.

Every feature is on the Club System overview, and the Sports Club OS Help centre explains each one step by step.

How Sports Club OS is built and hosted

  • It runs in the web browser on any computer, tablet or phone. There is nothing to install.
  • It is hosted on Amazon Web Services in Sydney, so the club's data is held in Australia.
  • Each person sees only what their role allows, checked on the server. The club edits the roles itself, sign-in can use two-factor authentication, and changes are recorded in an audit log.
  • An administrator can download all of the club's data, as CSV and JSON, at any time.
  • A club's records can be brought across from SportLogic or inTennis, and from other systems by spreadsheet. See switching from SportLogic and changing over to Sports Club OS.

The Sports Club OS Trust Centre has the detail on where the data lives, who can see what, and backups.

Free tools for any club

  • Sporty Score, a free match scorer for squash, tennis, padel, pickleball and badminton. It runs on a phone with no account, and others can follow the score with a code.
  • The Free Tournament Manager for ladders, leagues and knockout draws, scored live. It is free to any club in any sport, and access is arranged with Adam.

All of them are listed under free tools for sports clubs.

How Sports Club OS and Neutral IT are connected

Neutral IT and Sports Club OS are both trading names of AS Gough Pty Ltd. Sports Club OS is sold to sports clubs under its own name. Neutral IT stays a service-only IT consultancy, with no partnerships or agreements with IT providers or vendors.
